I typically need 2 to 3 weeks notice depending on availability. The sooner you reach out, the better — especially around holidays and busy seasons. I'd always rather have more time to make something beautiful for you.
-
Head to the Inquire page and fill out the form with your event details, size, and any flavor ideas you have in mind. I'll get back to you to confirm availability and talk through the details.
ORDERING & PROCESS-
I offer three sizes. Here's a rough guide — servings will vary depending on how generously you slice!
-
Yes — tiered cakes are available as a custom add-on. My tiered cakes feature a 10" bottom tier and an 8" top tier, stacked and fully decorated. These are custom orders, so please reach out to discuss your vision and we'll go from there. Tiered cakes start from $450, with final pricing depending on design and any extras.
SiZES & SERVINGS-
I have a set menu of flavors, but if there's something your heart truly desires, I'm always open to a conversation. Reach out and let me know what you have in mind — I love a good flavor challenge.
-
Yes — I offer minimal writing on cakes. Whether it's a name, a date, or a short phrase, I work with various mediums to make it feel considered and beautiful rather than an afterthought. Just let me know what you have in mind when you order.
-
No — I don't use fondant at all. All my cakes are finished with ganache or buttercream.
FLAVORS & CUSTOMIZATIONS-
Base prices are determined by size and flavor. From there, pricing may be adjusted based on design and any extras — things like fresh fruit, flowers, text, bows, 3D decorations, and other finishing touches. I'll always give you a full quote before you confirm your order.
-
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. The remaining balance is due 10 days before your pickup date — your cake won't be started until full payment has been received.
PRICING & PAYMENT-
I offer delivery for a $25 fee to Williamsburg, Greenpoint, LIC, and Astoria. For all other areas, orders are available for pickup. If you're unsure whether your neighborhood is covered, just ask!
-
Yes — someone else can pick up on your behalf. They'll just need to have the order name and confirmation details with them. Please note that I'm unable to accommodate third-party courier pickups such as Uber or DoorDash — all orders must be collected in person.
-
Always keep the cake flat and on a stable surface — the floor of your car or the trunk (with a non-slip mat) works well. Avoid placing it on a seat where it can slide. Keep the AC on in warmer months, and try not to make too many stops on the way. If you're taking public transport, I'd recommend a taxi or rideshare instead.
PICKUP & DELIVERY-
All bakes are made in a home kitchen where nuts, gluten, and dairy are present. While I thoroughly clean my kitchen between bakes, I'm not able to guarantee a fully allergen-free environment. I can make gluten-free and vegan cakes, but I'm unable to take orders for anyone with a severe allergy. If you have concerns, please reach out before ordering and we can talk through it together.
ALLERGIES & DIETARY NEEDS-
If you're not serving within an hour or two of pickup, pop it in the refrigerator. Just be mindful of strong-smelling foods nearby — onion, garlic, and the like can seep into the cake if left overnight.
Take the cake out of the fridge at least 2 hours before serving so it comes back to room temperature — it tastes much better that way. And keep it away from heat, which will soften the buttercream and wilt any flowers.
-
All cakes are best enjoyed as fresh as possible. They'll keep in the fridge for up to 36 hours — but if your cake has fresh flowers, it should be served the same day for the best results.
